Javea News - 29/01/2020 - Storm Clean up

Just a week after the storm Gloria, Javea residents & workers have put right most of the destruction. Hundreds of volunteers all along the Spanish coast have been doing their part by gathering at their nearest beach to help clean up the mess left by Hurricane Gloria.

Local helpers in the Alicante province, have amassed tonnes of plastic and other waste which was washed up by giant waves, torrential rain and winds of up to 115 kilometres per hour.
